UAB is playing a ranked team Saturday.
Middle Tennessee is 24th in both polls.

First ranked conference game since Memphis, I think

Good for us... pressure is on MTSU to hold onto their ranking this Saturday.

Better for our league if MTSU won out and then got beat in the C-USA final.

In basketball, getting a second team in is better for UAB at the end of the day. Us beating MTSU right now does little for us.

Except it might prove to give the team much needed confidence and propel the team to start a streak...

Maybe. I am one of those who never thought this team was out of it, but with an injured Cokley and a short bench it’s hard to fathom any situation in which we win four games in four days now. Best case for the conference is getting mtsu and wku/odu and having both win a game or two.

**** CUSA. I want to see this group play some good basketball and beat a good team. We need this win.

Wow. I never said we didn't need this win or that I didn't want this team to win. I was just saying that from a conference aspect, outside of our own team's aspirations, it would be better for the conference for us to lose.

You guys are pretty defensive.

I vote we beat 'em twice and see how their luck holds.

Beat their top 25 butts...if CUSA want what's best for the conference than middle ten,Marshall and wku must beat the Blazers....UAB need this win and every other that's comes out way, that's what is best for us....

The team needs to stay as recuperated as possible throughout the next three games, regardless of who they play or where they play. After Saturday night in Murphreesboro, ten days later they will be playing in the first round of the Conference Tournament. Not a good time for them to become beat down over the course of their final three conference regular season games when they are so close to playing in Frisco.

At least we've got our mirror opponent and 2 home games. I hope Cokley is getting the best care available at UaB for his back.

Could be the Kermit Davis farewell tour.

I say win out. one at a time. if we can win the next 3, we can win 4 more in 4 days on a neutral court.

Have to think Davis or Forbes will be in line for a major pay bump for the ole miss job.

Marshall could easily lose at MTSU, and vs ODU.
If we win out we will have a tie with Marshall for 4th.
Rather play 3 then 4. Still possible.
Marshall could lose next 4. And we get 4 seed outright.
