Local sports news ignores us
Not a whisper on Saturday's 10 o'clock news about our game, and not a whisper on Sunday morning news either. I'm particularly pointing to NBC 13. Pisses me off royal. They cover Bama, Auburn, then local high schools. We don't even get a mention.

Both local coverage and student participation have noticeably dropped off this year.

Even when we're in a funk, local news should be covering every game. I did see that NBC 13 did a feature on the women's team one day last week.

I wouldn't worry too much. No one is watching 13 to know we weren't on there. 6 always covers us, and they typically have the highest ratings by far. I'm surprised 13 can keep all the lights on these days.

I cancelled my cable and rely on antenna now for local stations. 13 is the only one I can't pick up. Several others on the western side of town say they can't get it either.

METV is pretty good to watch but I can do without NBC 13.

Been to a game at Bartow lately? A lot of people are ignoring us these days.

If I were coach, I wouldn’t want people knowing we lost to UTSA and NT. But yes, would be nice to get a mention when we win.
