This is the win the team needs! This team has not given up despite a couple close losses. We can compete against anyone in the CAA. Go Seahawks!

Talley did not have a good game at all, but he was Mr Clutch with that 3! Love his heart and effort!

Jacque Brown needs more minutes going forward. Despite his size his quickness makes up for it on defense.

Terrific defense in the 2nd. half.

Towson held to 35% overall and 30% from three. Only lost the rebounding battle by 5 after being out rebounded by 11 in the 1st half.

Brown looks really good out there. We need to give him some of the time going to Gary and Estime as we go forward.

This team is improving every game and tonight we just beat preseason #1. Very proud of this team's endurance and perseverance. There isn't a team in the CAA we cannot beat if we keep improving. We will be a tough first round opponent in Charleston

Brown has earned more minutes. After a game like this, let him ride with some new confidence. He looks good running the point and is a good defender. I like him and Talley on the court together. If we can bring him in the rotation, it gives McGrath an opportunity to let Gary and Estime play a bit less.

One thing I like is this is the first game we won where we didn't have an off the charts offensive game, we won with defense and rebounding.

RE: Towson round 2
That was just a draining game! Frustration all around for most of it. But man these guys hung tough. We came back from a double-digit deficit against a VERY tough opponent.

The refs, as terrible as they were, did us some favors tonight by calling it tight. You knew that if they did that, Towson would stumble into a ton of bad fouls, and they sure did.

My biggest takeaway tonight was we won a game where Talley didn't play great overall, and Cacok fouled out. The last, what, 2 minutes of regulation, plus overtime, were played without Cacok? And much of the game, both he and Talley were sitting for long stretches due to foul trouble. That was something many here didn't think we could accomplish, but we did tonight.

Big props are due to Marcus Bryan in that regard. He had some huge rebounds, hit a big open jumper, and some clutch free throws despite being a 48 % shooter entering the night. He also avoided picking up his 5th foul and forcing us to go very small or bring in Kalina. Without Bryan, we don't win this game. How often have we been able to say that so far in his career? Big minutes out of him, and of course Jacque.

RE: Towson round 2
I missed the second 2/3 as i had a game to coach, but what a win! Coach is now 2-2 in last 4 with 2 very good wins, and could easily be 3-1 over that stretch. Once Cacock got 2 in 2 mins i thought we were in serious trouble, that's where i had to stop listening. My game went to OT too and also a W. Fun hoops night

That was a fun win for sure. Towson plays great defense, so to come back from down 12 with under 8:00 to play is really impressive. Bryan was really good down the stretch...the rebound tip to Fornes on the second possession of OT was also awesome. I'm really glad we got over the hump tonight.

I'm really impressed with the work the staff has done with Bryant. He is night and day to last year.
