If they lose to Grambling they need to close up shop.
Blah blah blah 11-2......but how many of those were even good teams? Their conference is trash, and they often play several D2 teams in "classics." They also don't compete in the playoffs so they have very few competitive matchups. In FBS games they severely lack the depth to keep up, even if they do manage to be productive.
The Cajuns should walk away with it. It would be the same as us losing to SSU, which Tyson ******* Summers managed to drop 54 on.
Say what you will, but Grambling is no longer a gimme. They lost to Arizona 31-21 the first game of the year and Tulane a little later 49-14. Coach Fobbs is an excellent coach who has been very good for their program. He’s been pulling in some good players, both HS and transfers from P5s. Not saying they will beat the Cajuns or even come close this year, just don’t be surprised if they come in prepared and make a game of it. They only lost those 2 games but dominated the SWAC and beat a couple of SLC teams along the way. Don’t think Fobbs will be there forever. He will get a shot at an FBS program in the next year or two.

I was sitting behind their HC at the Alabama Clemson Semifinal. He had some interesting stories and had a different viewpoint of what was happening on the field. He worked for Saban at LSU, Miles at LSU, and Mack Brown.

The quality of KSU's program so early in its development, our history of losing to FCS teams, and the proximity of the schools all add up to my really not looking forward to playing the Owls next season.

They're pretty polished on offense too, they look a lot like us under Monken.

who's bright idea was to schedule this game? we beat KSU, no one will care. we lose to KSU, everyone will care.
That said, we should beat KSU. It is a second chance U for the players who couldn't rise through our depth chart. Besides, our defense always play well against TO scheme offense.

We play SEMO (Southeast Missouri State) on 9/1.
It's our warm-up game before we travel to Tuscaloosa and shock the world!

Hell no I hope we dont see them until a coaching change why you would schedule an instate GOOD FCS team is crazy.
Go look up the FCS wins the last decade most are instate or in region "upsets".

Well he is right, Tyson ran some crap that is unidentifiable most of the time.
Debesse has a set playbook at least and we will have a real identity again.
