The NU KY game was the highest rated non holiday or weekend game of the season at 4.6M+ viewers on a Thursday later afternoon

5 of the 9 highest rated bowl games involved Big 10 teams. Interesting also that for example the Iowa BC Pinstripe Bowl played at 415PM CST on 12/27 WED outdrew the Texas Bowl (Texas Missou) played later that nite 8PM CST both on EsPN.

The lowest rated bowls were either early afternoon start times on mid week games ( Military Bowl `12/28 12pm, Heart of Dallas 12/26 12pm, Sun Bowl TH 12/29 2pm Independence 12/27 TU 1PM) or were one of the 6 games played on Sat 12/16( Boise St Oregon Vegas Bowl and Celebration Bowl between NC A&T and Grambling far outdrew the other 4 games), 6 even on a weekend day is too many.

There were no bowls after NYD even on Friday night 1/5 or Saturday 1/6, the only College game played that day was the FCS title game. The lower rated bowls scheduled for mid week afternoon starts need to consider moving to the weekend between NYD and the National Championship game.
