Never an easy place to win for us. I might be wrong but I think we've only ever won there once? The last few seasons we routinely get blown out or at least lose by double digits there.
I'm not a believer in history dictating results, and while W&M is a tough place to play, I think we can win if we play our game well. A loss isn't the end of the world, and if we look good and lose I can live with that.
Tribe are 1.5 point favorites going into this one. The computers don't seem to like them as much as other teams in the league and Vegas odds tend to correlate most with the computers.

Our hot shooting has cooled off some as teams focus on defending the 3-pt line. We'll need Knight to stay out of foul trouble and get Milon and Burchfield out of their mini-slumps to earn the W. Lot of respect among Tribe fans for Coach Coen. Fully expect he will have a good game plan and have your guys ready to play.

I definitely think this is a game we can win despite our poor history at Kaplan.
I like our depth where we have 3 bigs to go at Knight and Occeus is the best athlete defender on the floor.
We just can’t have those 3-5 minute scoring droughts that seem to kill us against good teams.

Coen and Shaver are the deans of the conference. Both recruit similar type of players.
We offered Knight as well. But he made the right choice to go to W&M.
NU already had Miller, Green and Sajon Ford were on the roster already.

13 assists on 18 baskets in the first half. We are finding the open man and hitting shots. W&M end the half on a 6-0 run, but we are up 47-34. Good contributions from everyone so far. Need to keep it up, W&M are more than capable of coming back to win this game. They had a big comeback win against JMU recently.

Well I certainly didn't expect that! 90-70 win in Williamsburg.
Very efficient on offense. That was pleasant to watch. Everyone contributing.

That was a thorough ass-kicking tonight.
Just a solid all-around game, but I honestly felt like our athleticism and depth would be too much for them, but not like that.
We owe Delaware one after they beat us last year in Newark. No letdown!

RE: @ W&M
You're tied with W&M and Hofstra for first at 5-2. James Madison was down 10 before making 2 free throws with 1:30 left and coming back to beat Elon 85-74 in overtime. Including regulation and overtime, James Madison scored 32 points in 6:30. Elon's loss makes a four-way tie for fourth rather than them being tied for first. First and seventh are 1 game apart.
Edit: You shot field goals .714. The record for field goal percentage in a game by a CAA team is .738 by James Madison against American on January 11, 1986. Your .714 ranks fourth, and the second and third highest were before the highest, so you have the highest in over 32 years. In the 242 games from 2010-2011 (as far as College Basketball Reference has its Play Index for) through two games ago, you had 0 or 1 offensive rebound once. Then you had consecutive games with 1 offensive rebound.

Yep. Nice to enjoy a road win but too early to celebrate being in first place when a couple of bad games slides us down to sixth or seventh. Now, if we can just run that offense against a team with a defense like you guys have.......

Are you saying Hofstra has good defense? They don't. Before allowing 63 yesterday, Hofstra allowed at least 70 in 7 consecutive games, including allowing at least 86 in 4 of them. In 14 of Hofstra's 19 games, the losing team scored at least 70.

I've only seen you play once.....when you shut down our offense. I thought your perimeter defense was the best I've seen in a while. If that was atypical then that's good news.

RE: @ W&M
The CAA says you tied the highest field goal percentage in the NCAA this season.

You can look at statistics without having seen Hofstra. In the NCAA statistics before yesterday, Hofstra was 331st out of 351 in opponents' three-point percentage. Hofstra's opponents' points per game would look worse if their opponents could shoot free throws. Hofstra's opponents have shot free throws .800 or better only 3 times, including when you made all 8. Your opponents have shot free throws .800 or better 8 times. Your opponents have the highest free throw percentage in the CAA.
I just looked at statistics and I rank Pusica as the second best guard in the CAA behind Wright-Foreman.

Stats don't always tell the story but I find these ones pretty interesting. Thanks for sharing.
