We'll have to. I figure it will be years yet before you can complain about Coach Clark without getting your head handed to you, lol.

Of course not.

I expect 15-0.

You can count on me to complain about the OC if we don't have a perfect season. LOL

This team will also have one more advantage. A prior year of film and game experience under it's belt, with weaknesses identified.

YES!! They will "see us coming" and be better prepared. It is said that a team improves a lot between the first and second games. How about in its second season?

If we have the same record and go to the New Orleans Bowl or somewhere close I'll be happy. Yes, we won't sneak up on any one and the schedule is a little tougher IMMHO. That said I think we will be better but may end up with the same record.

No Bahamas or Hawaii bowl and I’m good. Even though CUSA doesn’t have a slot in the Hawaii bowl anymore.

Forget location, wherever the next bowl is, I would settle for the team treating it as a business trip and showing up to compete in the game.

I think this was learning experience for the coaches and team. I expect the next bowl game to be different.

I thought bow games were a reward for a good season, not a business trip.

And it seems like if it was a business, the employees would be compensated.

Are you suggesting that they don't keep score in bowl games? Because, well, I know you don't really follow football that much, but it turns out that they do in fact keep score in bowl games.

I'm suggesting that is bowl games are a reward which is what I am told every time I say they are meaningless, then why do they have to treat it as a business trip.

They also say it's extra practice time. Which is why the starters should be given the option to play while the backups get quality playing time. 05-stirthepot

One has to be a very old person to remember when there were only four bowl games which were all played on New Year's Day and they were tied to conferences who generally each supplied one team. (The original Rose Bowl was a parade followed by a bull fight which was later replaced by a football game. Until the 60s, the Sugar and Cotton Bowls had southern teams because segregation laws prohibited racially mixed teams)

As the number of bowls grew, their impact on national rankings became more acceptable. It was in the 70s when Bama won a National Championship in an Orange Bowl game played New Year's night because all of its competitor teams lost that day in earlier bowl games. Now we have specific playoff bowl type games for P5 schools, and all others are irrelevant to that issue. For the participating cities, they are all business but for the teams they are just for fun.

In 1973 Alabama won a National Championship by losing the Sugar Bowl.
