#9 NU played to a 1-1 tie vs UNH at Matthews.
UNH goalie Danny Tirone, who only seems to play big against NU, had 40 saves.
But with the 1 point, the Huskies are now one point out of first place in the Hockey East behind Boston College,.
Just four points now separate the No. 1-4 teams in the standings (BC, NU, Providence and BU).

We play that same game with different puck luck and we win 98 out of 100. Not sure how the puck stayed out of the UNH net, especially in the 3rd period. Broken sticks on open nets, weird bounces behind the goalie, I'm not taking anything away from Tirone because he was brilliant, but we were much much better than UNH last night. Unfortunate for the PWR and HE standings.
