UAB had only 5 fouls for the game. That is outstanding.

He didn't do anything in the second half.
Don't think he subbed himself in, the last 14 mins of the game.

When the other team plays 5 guards, its easy. They played 5 guards except for 16 minutes. And he is a stiff.

Yeah, hurt the NBA wasn't interested in a SOFT 6-9 guy.
I'm sorry, I feel like he could & should have been a bigger impact guy as a senior.
Maybe he will, as the season winds down. We are going to need some blocks, that's for sure.
He is averaging 8.8 & 5.3 before tonight. I expected 17 & 8.

Ehsan said tonight on the postgame Haha played limited minutes in the second half because his knee started bothering him again. He only played 19 minutes and still scored 16.

Why are you doubting he is hurt? Do ou need to see exposed bones to believe it.
Because David Walker would have played through it. All season.

Yes, he had a great first half. I wasn't really happy with his shots but he made them.
(He could & should have taken it deeper in the paint)
Scootie made 3 really great prayers tonight as the shot clock winded down.
Nearly unconscious. But he did have 3 turnovers.
Lavender had 3 assists & 0 turnovers in 12 minutes.
Nick 6 assists, 0 turnovers. Thats what I expect from Nick. (Without the 25 foot NBA three point attempt) That shot will probably win us a game this year. But at that moment, it wasn't a great shot.

What was wrong with the shot selection? Too much rim? Not a lot of net?

Tech shut down Giddy but not enough.
Speaking of MTSU, Look at King. Then look at Sullivan
Both are supposedly 6-7. King is listed at 225. Lew is listed at 223.
While I did not get to see them next to each other a lot, it seems to me that Lew is at least 10-15 pounds heavier.

I thought he could have gotten closer to the rim. Rather than 15 foot turnaround jumpers. But that would require backing a defender down.
You know, icky physical contact.
They don't make you do that in the NBA. Do they?

RE: USM game thread
We have problems with smaller teams. This affects the postgame as well because as soon as the post player puts the ball on the floor these smaller players use their quickness and swipe at the ball. In addition, pressure on our smaller guards make it difficult for entry passes because they are farther away from the post player. Also, their quickness makes it hard to get post position. If was obvious from Cokley's low post play last night...

He wasn't taking turnaround jumpers. He was taking open 10-15 footers in rhythm which he is capable of making. Big difference.
