No, tailgate town is a section at the north end of the stadium where they have a bunch of things to do (take a picture with the trophy, kids games like kicking a fg and jumping over tackling dummies, etc.) where they also hold a mini pep rally for each teams fans. I believe ours is after NDSU’s so if you get into the stadium after 10:10 but before 10:45 it’s pretty fun to head over and get more amped. They’ve got an announcer doing mc duties and the duke dog is running around, band/cheerleaders etc. my 8 year old godson loved it last year and is stoked to go in early and check it out again.

Another tip to any first timers, def hit the team entrance into the stadium, that was very cool as well.

NDSU will have 100 or so custom tailgate busses / rigs there is what's estimated, make sure you walk over and check them out, some crazy dollars into those!!

it's gonna be a sh.tshow at 5am saturday morning... (yes I said 5am... i know many that will party all night friday into tailgate into game...... you can sleep from 3pm-9pm after the victory!

Anyone hunting for a particular tailgate lot this morning? Just packing up now.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good tailgate flag pole?

The ones I have are old (and that's probably part of the problem) telescoping style, maybe 20 ft length. Looking for a good sturdy one, 20-25 ft range. I see a lot of em out there on game days and I didn't think to ask around this month and would like to replace by family weekend. Looking for any suggestions (and links) for anyone who has one they like, that has held up, that stays up (a section or two on mine won't say locked in), etc.

My flag pole is pretty old too, but stays up just fine.
