2. #17 Missouri
3. Oklahoma State
4. Mississippi State
5. Middle Tennessee state (2006) Miracle in Murphreesboro (vaulted Troy to string together 5 championships.)

Why did you mention Michigan? No one remembers it.

RE: Biggest wins in history
I would obviously put Michigan #1. After that, would be the FCS championships and Bowl games, but order is tough to say. While I would never go back to FCS, I think I’d put the first and third FCS titles near the top. Those were so huge for our program. My personal opinion:

1. Michigan
2. FCS title #1 (2005 vs. Northern Iowa)
3. FCS title #3 (2007 vs. Joe Flacco lead Delaware)
4. First bowl win
5-7. Tie between bowl games and that middle FCS title

Beating Marshall at home in 2003 was a big deal for us too.

I get why we all want to say we beat #16 LSU, but they were #25 when we beat them. They were without Derrius Guice as well as a couple more of their key players. Great win for Troy, but we did not beat #16 LSU.

I honestly couldn’t remember their ranking so I went to our game score box and it said #16 so went with it lol

3. Oklahoma State (lead them 41-10 in the 4th back in 2007)
4. Middle Tennessee (2006)
5. Appalachian State (2016 SBC Co-Champ)
6. Southern Miss / 2015 CUSA Divisional Champ, Akron / 2017 MAC Divisional Champ, North Texas / 2017 CUSA Divisional Champ
7. Arkansas State (2016 SBC Co-Champ in title town last seven years)

We're building a history of beating conference champions.

I'm surprised some stAte fans don't include your win over the piglets as one of their biggest wins in history.

Ranking

1. Texas A&M
2. #25 Kent State
3. Central Florida
4. Utah State
5. App State

That A&M team we beat was God Awful, but in terms of program attention, it did far more than any other game. I rank Kent State above UCF because the Flashes were ranked as high as 15 that year before they lost the MAC Title game. Central Florida is an interesting situation. They were not particularly good last year, but every game they go without losing after that, using essentially the same players. Especially knowing that our defense absolutely shut Milton down, makes that game look better.

Utah State in 2014 was a 10 win team, I believe it was our first ever win over a 10 win team in the regular season.

I am not sure what to do with 5. I chose to keep it modern because we had some good results in the 80's but against FCS teams. We had a couple dominating wins in the last 7 years, but not over good teams. That App game was a fun game to watch, and it felt like the first ever SBC Title game and our chance to prove that the App's weren't going to just run over the entire league, because they had done just that for two years. I give it the 5 spot for that reason.

We do rank our win over that 2012 ULM team as one of our bigger wins. That was a crazy atmosphere that game. 30,000 appreciative fans who wanted nothing more than to smash Kolton Browning's head in...which we did, over and over again.

It included Mohajir sneakily giving free tickets to a bunch of known pro Razorback booster groups. Little Rock brought live TV and radio up for the game...it was a big, big deal.

We also got to put up another "How Long Will the Hogs Run" banner, which our players might have paraded around the field with after the game before an angry Rhett Lashlee intervened.

Other than the obvious ones.

1975 over Wake Forest & South Carolina. Only 4 years removed from NAIA.

1986 over Marshall to win first SoCon title.

Kolton didn’t play in that game , was injured week before . I️ watched the replay the other day that was a fired up crowd in Jonesboro that night though.

Yeah, the crowd was awesome.

It's funny. I know we never lost to Kolton, but I honestly can't remember how many times he actually faced us. Seemed he got hurt a lot right before he played us.
