Athletic department just released the home and away MAC games.

Home: Akron, Central, NIU, Toledo.

Away: Ball St., Buffalo, Kent State, Western.

Surprised we dropped Miami, thought we would have one more game with them. Picked up Buffalo and Kent State as I expected, but Akron I did not see coming.

I'm not surprised with the Miami drop. We had played them three years in a row, and if Bowling Green and Ohio were to be dropped that only leaves Kent State, Buffalo, and Akron to come in from the East.

Very strong home schedule including Army, CMU, NIU and Toledo.

And an opener with Monmouth.

Buffalo and Akron both much improved. Next year's schedule about the same as this year's as far as degree of difficulty. Purdue a better team than Rutgers, San Diego St. on par with Kentucky. Still hate playing Army. At least we get 6 homes games instead of 5 like this year.

Just find us a QB and we'll be in good shape.

5-3 in the is very doable. The key will be to win three of those four home games. Split the four MAC road games and hopefully split the four non-conference games and we are going bowling.
