South Dakota State @ JMU
South Dakota State is FAR better than any other team JMU has faced, and at worst the 3rd best team in FCS.

JMU, the one team that can breakup a MVC National Championship game.

Let the discussion begin.....

SDSU is laying 20.5. It would be an epic upset for UNH.

RE: South Dakota State @ JMU
Now that the excitement from last night's win has waned, I am wondering how much our Dukes have left on the tank. The Dukes are depleted due to injuries. The team has faced two very physical opponents and the competion will only get more physical with the Jack Rabits and Bison. This has been a long 16 month stretch of football by the Dukes. Does the team have enough energy and depth to win two more games?

Last night for the first time all season our front seven looked tired in the 4th qtr. The Bison have played a soft playoff schedule and will continue to do so against Sam Houston. I fear the Bison will be the fresher team in Frisco.

UNH is not going to upset SDSU. However, having said that, last night should make all JMU fans realize upsets can and do happen...well, almost thank Buddha.

Meh...they are 18-23 year olds. They'll be fine. Heck, maybe even uplifted a bit after the way they came back last night. Almost as if playing with house money in some ways considering where we stood with 3 minutes left last night.

Playing at home should help as well. Hopefully, we'll get a better turnout. The team deserves it.

Isn’t there a one or two week bye between the semis and Frisco? That would be plenty of time to rest.

UNH wasn’t supposed to stand a chance against UCA, either

Three weeks. Anyone hurt last night that doesn’t need surgery has a good chance of being able to play in Jan. if we were to win next weekend.

RE: South Dakota State @ JMU
Assuming we play SDSU, I expect the Dukes to open around a 4 pt favorite.

edit note: if SDSU wipes the floor with UNH, combined with our result last night, I could see the linesmaker shaving a point or two off and it open closer to 2.5 or 3...given a close-to-FG home advantage power points bump, this would mean on a neutral field the two teams would be at or close to a Pick'Em/Even.

Let’s not get carried away here people.

A) we won the game, as always

B) we made more mistakes last night than we have all year

C) Weber played a near perfect game. What mistakes did they make?

They were 8 point underdogs to uca and beat them by 5. Beat the spread by 13 points and I’m pretty sure their back up QB played.

Other than the one Cantwell INT, I cant think of any. That TO didn’t even burn them I think.

Their boneheaded holding on the blocked fg cost them a TD

Not sure about that. Our guy was right there as well and had a great chance to tackle him or slow him down if he wasn’t tackled himself.

Let’s not forget we had a fumbled kickoff on their 15 yard line that two of our guys just flat out missed falling on the ball despite no white shirt anyone near them.

Still can’t believe how we didn’t recover that. Score was 21-20 at the time

During that NDSU game at least twice ESPN put up this weekends schedule of games, but left off the game coming up, SDSU/UNH, it's like ESPN didn't know the game is about to be played. Did any of you see this?
