Last Night at the Montgomery Bowl Social:

Troy officials are finalizing a deal where Troy and UAB would open up their seasons with a Neutral Site matchup in Montgomery at Crampton Bowl. 2020 and/or 2021

That would be very cool atmosphere. I'd go.

A Week 0 TROY vs UAB game on Neutral Site in Montgomery at Crampton Bowl should be hopefully a ESPN network game!

Why neutral site? Does Troy want to avoid Legion Field that badly?

It will be what has been a pre-season Raycom game that has seen Jax State and Chattanooga this past year.

I'm sure UABers would say the same of Neal Brown.

I have a lot of respect for Neal Brown. I hope we both hang on to our coaches for a long time.
