The option was born, bred, and will die here. It's always been a part of what we do.

Hmmm.....not sure about that.

Emory Bellard invented the wishbone, Delaware had the Wing T, and Nebraska had their spin on it.

We didn't exactly create the option, we just created the flavor you see from PJ.

This quote from the release is interesting

they will be announcing a pay day game. hasn't been totally finalized yet. that's the next scheduling announcement.

Historic P5 games that are coming up.

Historic? Hmmmm. Notre Dame, Michigan, and USC (Trojans) come,to mind. Who would be considered "historic" closer to home that we haven't played?

The fact you play option teams is a,perfect, reason to schedule more. Its,the teams that don't play any option based teams all year that really have an issue with it.

I like we are only going to one money game, would love to see us dropping FCS games but I know that is not realistic at this time, need that 90% chance of a win. Let just stay away from well funded flagship state schools and just get VMI or something please.

I don't care how the sausage is made, but happy for GS that this came to fruition.

That was my quota for the year. One compliment to GS.

Quote:Georgia Southern and Boise State will start a new home and home series that begins on Sept. 5, 2020 with the Eagles playing at Boise State. On Aug. 31, 2024, the Broncos return the trip to Allen E. Paulson Stadium in Statesboro to complete the series.

Georgia Southern and BYU will start a new home and home series that begins on Nov. 20, 2021 with the Cougars visiting Georgia Southern and concludes on Oct. 12, 2024 with GS traveling to Provo, Utah.

It is exciting to have a H/H with Georgia Southern. Considering our mutual D1AA history, I am surprised we have never faced each other. I just wish the series was in back-to-back seasons. See you in 2020.
