Agree. You'd be amazed how many of our fans over on Yosef's Cabin don't think we need to add any seats.
Most of those guys also wish we were still FCS.

Seriously. Even with the success you guys have had in FBS you still have people doubting the move up?
Yea. Some diehard "I love the playoffs" guys. Honestly I think they just have too much pride to admit they were wrong about moving to FBS.

Yes. They're all a bunch of senile geezers.
Well, this old geezer was against 1-AA/FBS since the day we were kicked down in 1983.

My 35 year old college roommate still wishes we were in FCS and hates Scott Satterfield.

Takeaway: there's just no pleasing some people.

I was going to make a joke along the lines of "what you you expect from a 35 year old college student?" as a play on words..... But, I remembered my graduation was last year at the age of 33. Mmmph.

Mad about the firing of Jerry Moore. Wanted Shawn Elliot. Doesn't think Satterfield is "ballsy" enough as a play caller. Wants him to be more of a rah-rah cheerleader. Just never liked the cut of his jib.

Jerry Moore didn't want to go FBS, Chancellor Peacock and the BOT did so he needed to be shown the door. It was handled very poorly by Cobb, but JM was given the opportunity to stay on as a goodwill ambassador for $125K per year and turned it down. Anyone who complains about Satterfield needs their head examined. Don't know how your friend could expect more than the most successful transition in FBS history. I'll take him over Elliot any day of the week.

Well Moore's firing is on Cobb. If he wants to have some angst, be like me and hold it against GSU where he ended up and use it as bait for a rivalry.

As for rah-ra cheerleader, isn't that why we have Mike Sirignano?

I'm with both of you. I did think Satterfield had a tendency to be very conservative (and a zone read running offense, while effective isn't the sexiest scheme) but WAY more often than not it's been successful....so why complain? Just who he is.

Without getting Appalachian-political.... I love Jerry Moore. He's a very kind man, and seems to be a genuinely good human being. I've been fortunate enough to spend some time with him in the past 2 years. He is still sharp as a tack.
