Any chance you could help direct more Seahawk fans over here On the next one?

I was actually thinking of asking if there was a way to pin a thread somewhere that y'all could post podcast questions for us and we could mention the board as where they came from. Kill two birds with one stone.

I'm on it now. Sorry fellas, Tribal was keeping an eye out for your consistent unruly behavior while I was hunting for the last five days. Sarcasm aside, I didn't say anything about being gone b/c last time I did all I heard were jokes. 03-lmfao

I'm back though, and I'll stick this for Alex and us fans. Best podcast in the conference baby! Hang the banner!!!!

Appreciate it everyone. So yeah, if you have a question for us on the podcast, just post it here or message it to me and we'll answer it. I'll check every Sunday night/Monday morning. You can also email it to alex.riley@starnewsonline.com.

Thanks Alex!

If we post it here, could you throw csnbbs a bone and name drop them? That way potential folks viewing your podcast unfamiliar with the board know there's a place they can come chat about UNCW sports? Not sure if that violates any sort of media policy or anything, just trying to have more Seahawks aware of what we have going here... for freebies.

Absolutely. We'll try to mention the board anyway, but a question a week would make it easier, that's for sure.

Here's are 2 questions

What is the weaker point for this team, defense or turnovers?

Is the problem simply Keatts recruits not adapting to McGrath style ball?

What changed in terms of defensive intensity/efficiency from the blowout loss to Loyola-Chicago to the more competitive game with Valpo?

Listening now. I'm at the 41 minute mark so far. Great work so far, you guys are fun to listen to. What kind of beer was that you cracked at the top of the show?

RE: Latest Episode of "The Beat and the Beard" UNCW sports podcast
My favorite stat Alex mentioned was that "UNCW is a victory away from being 3-3 to start the season." He further mentioned that UNCW had the EXACT SAME start in 2014, the first year we had Kevin Keatts as head coach which was also the beginning of the resurgence of UNCW. Found that interesting considering all of the recent chatter in other threads here.

Please discuss how Matt Elmore is progressing if you get a chance to talk to him. Thanks, I enjoy listening to the show.

Will do Bill. Coach actually talked a little about Matt at this presser today. We'll have that next week.

And Coast, it was a Budweiser. And it was delicious.

McGrath switched from the Swiss-cheese man-to-man into a zone against ECU, which seemed to work or a while. Then he switched back, which worked not so much.

Why the insistence on sticking with a scheme that is not working well, and why the resistance to trying other things that might?

RE: Latest Episode of "The Beat and the Beard" UNCW sports podcast
There was a lot of buzz early on before the season started about Cacock developing a short-mid range jumper, but so far this season it's been the Cacock we know... living in the paint and punishing the opposition on the rim and glass.

Has Coach moved away from that game plan for Cacock due to Elmore's injury?

Is Cacock still working on the shots?

And honestly, it won't hurt my feelings any if he sticks with the success he found last year, especially since he's basically one of about only 3 reliable scorers we have, and his being the most effective in pulling defenders into the paint to open up other perimeter shooters.
