JMU loss, National Honors, FCS PLAYOFFS!
Elon falls to JMU : JMU was to much for Elon. I'd hoped that Elon would be able to keep it close but it was not to be. JMU showed why they are number 1. Congrats to them and also on bringing a great showing to Rhodes Stadium. Y'all were loud. Had fun talking to a few fans who were great.

Messer, Cheek Named Finalists for National Awards : "Messer is one of 25 finalists for the STATS FCS Buck Buchanan Award for national defensive player of the year, while Cheek is one of 20 finalists for the STATS FCS Jerry Rice Award for national freshman of the year."

Cignetti Named Finalist for Eddie Robinson Award. : "Elon University football head coach Curt Cignetti was named as one of the 18 finalists for the STATS FCS Eddie Robinson Award that is presented annually to the FCS coach of the year."

Elon Earns Second FCS Playoff Berth in Program History : "The Elon University football team, ranked as high as 15th in the nation, will make its second-ever NCAA Division I Football Championship appearance as the Phoenix will play host to the Furman Paladins on Saturday, Nov. 25 at 1 p.m. The Phoenix finished the regular season with an 8-3 overall record and posted a 6-2 mark in CAA Football play in 2017."
