Great momentum heading to the playoffs. We haven’t needed all that much creativity on offense in the regular season—I expect to see some different looks over the next 7 weeks.

Team did a great job all season handling the pressures that come along with being the defending champs and undefeated. Saw some improvements on offense, hope they've worked out enough kinks for the playoffs. Defense bent but didn't break today, capping an outstanding season. Much to be proud of Dukes!

Now it's time to dig deep and get down to bidness.

Now on to the playoffs...

CAA - 22-24 over that last 3 seasons. The two losses were by a combined total of 13 points.

Not bad. Not bad at all. Go Dukes!

I’d choose to express it as JMU is undefeated in two successive CAA seasons, which has never been done before in league play, and extends JMU’s CAA record to 23 straight wins. That’s pure excellence.

Back-to-back national championships would complete the perfection.

Interesting year in the CAA. I have a feeling we’ll get Stony Brook in the quarters should we both advance.

Stony Brook seems to make some sense at 8 seed. Who would we rather play as 4 seed - UCA or Jax state ? Regardless if SDSU is the five seed they will have a good chance to beat either of those squads.

Very impressive job by Houston in the regular season. The Dukes have suffered more key injuries this year, yet he still has his team undefeated.01-ncaabbs

I didn’t see a regular strong year for the CAA. The Dukes will face their biggest tests in the playoffs - likely after the 2nd round. Thankfully, the road goes through Harrisonburg this year which will make it very tough for anyone to pull off an upset.

The last time the Dukes were in a position of power like this it was 2008 and only a turnover plagued game + first half injury to Landers could take the Dukes down in the semifinals.

NDSU as 4, SDSU as 5 would be perfect.

Seems unlikely, but not impossible. We’ll know soon.
