It sure would be great to get ota tv on the cell and tablets with this new standard. However, I think it would be better served to have an increase of the 6Mhz band to allow more sub-channels have hd.
However, if it does give better reception that will ge a big plus. I won't notice the difference in resolution since the uncompressed hd signal is so clear. People won't understand that unless you are sitting like 4 feet away from the TV or have a 90in screen you can't tell the difference.

That would be nice. I think most houses would need a fiber optic cable to get 4k tv. Not sure how much of the world has that yet.
