Permanent games are geographical. Five closest are matched with three basic groups. Us, JMU, UR, Elon and Towson. Towson, UD, Nova, Stony Brook and Albany. UNH, ME, URI, Albany and Stony Brook. The north and south areas get the four closest each year. It's all about travel.

I can't figure out how the above works.

From a Tribe perspective, it seems that our annual schedule has become:

Elon
Spiders
Dukes
Towson
Albany or SB (home if Nova/Delaware away, and vice-versa)
Nova or Delaware (more Delaware than Nova)
2 of UNH/Maine/URI (one home, one away ... for some reason, lots of UNH)

But what do I know!

I sincerely hope we at least got a 2 for 1. We should be willing to negotiate with teams (hell we're on the wrong end of this in basketball constantly) but there is no reason to pretend that Campbell is a peer.

So far, we have commitments from a DB, DL, and two OL/DL

I think SF predicted we will have ~10 scholarship freshmen. Maybe a TE, OL/DL, DBs, and LB as musts and skilled position players if we can snag some FBS level talent. I'd really like a WR similar to Rich Musinski and Tre McBride :-)

Guys who played this year include Best at RT (started 8 games), RG McConnell (started 8 games), and WR Zach Burdick. Muse also played a lot at TE. Norris is graduating.

We are loaded at LB with all who played this year plus Rfr. Jarrett Heckert, Riley Fox, Trey Watkins and Davis Call. Outstanding prospect at WR in Rfr. Amonyae Watson.

Other freshmen that I noticed dressing out and/or on travel squad this year but redshirted anyway: OL Gilder, S Herdman, DE Fowler, DB Allen. Word was Gilder was next man up early in the season until he had a leg injury. Seems to be back now but timing saved his redshirt with all the other injuries we had to that unit.

Jimmye Laycock, 69, intends to return as William & Mary coach next season, which would be his 39th with Tribe. Beyond that, Laycock said he has no exit strategy set at this time. He plans to consider the future during Christmas break. richmond.com/sports/college…

Campbell is listed as OG starter for Richmond game. I wish they would stop moving him around so much.
