Still a lot of games to be played, but we are pretty darn good.

You are clearly the class of the league. Not even close. Just hope you don't blow it in the tournament. I was overly optimistic about Little Rock. We never did get our leading returning scorer back (taking a medical redshirt), our Juco All-American is just getting back in shape from injuries, and our 6-11 graduate transfer played his first conference games this weekend. It's probably too late for us to turn our season around, but we could still beat someone in the tourney. We have been starting 2 freshman, 2 sophomores, and a junior so I still have some optimism about our future.

So...after 3 pages of reading:

1. UTA fans end up with egg on their face
2. GSU fans probably called it fairly close to right. The same goes for the GS without the U.
3. Cajun fans are jumping for joy.
4. Kasper Ball lovers rejoice in San Marcos
5. Troy flopped

Everyone else stinks like the preseason poll thought they would.

Overall, the conference is not very good outside ULL. We (LR) are in last place but #3 and #4 (Texas State and GaSou, respectively) literally needed buzzer beaters to beat us. We were down one to #2 GaSt with 5 minutes left. On the other hand, ULL jumped out on us 18-2 (at our place) and it was never close. Don't see a ton of difference between teams 2 through 12. Will be fun to see who gets to lose to ULL in the final in New Orleans.

Could be Cunningham's last season unless Troy goes on some sort of amazing streak.

I hope it's his last season... very disappointing year for Trojan fans.

No, one UTA fan, who rubbed people the wrong way by saying Sun Belt bowls are beneath him, has egg on his face. The rest of us were confident, but with our history in the big three sports, we never are over-confident.
