No, it doesn't really.

This might improve our game planning but it's not going to fix the poorly-laid foundation of preseason.

The only way I can see Georgia Southern not losing by 40 points is if our players were sucking on purpose all season because they hated Summers and were trying to get him fired.

Come on Eagles straighten up and fly right. This would be great game to start your resurgence. Start and finish with APP. Perfect.

Yeah, this is a horrible matchup for Southern. A team that can't pass against the #1 rushing defense in the nation.

It's asking for a 40-0 type scoreline. Though I think it's entirely possible that Southern can keep this within a couple scores with the right gameplanning.

Troy by a lot but we have light at the end of the tunnel now.

Unless someone on the staff can figure out how to stop blown defensive coverages I expect this week to go the same as the past few weeks.

Yes, but given the likely implications of the Troy/AState game, it's far easier to plot revenge against a bad team who probably isn't going to come out with the same fire.

I imagine Silvers' numbers will be down. Troy should have a healthy lead in the second half only need to run the ball so his passing numbers will be down. Chunn should have a nice day. Silvers will probably sit out the 4th Qtr. Keep everyone healthy for the stretch run.
