Thought I would bring this back to the top of the board. Most of the discussion of this game has been on the SB Bowl Ties thread.

It's not about the talent of NMSU, because you have plenty of it. Its the fact that as a program we are at the point where Sun Belt losses need to be exceedingly rare.

They already are. App State and A-State are 23-4 and 23-4, respectively, against the SBC since 2014, with the only difference being the fact App has played 1 more conference game so far this year. Heck, A-State won several more conference titles prior to 2014.

Exactly. AState and App have to continue to win games like this, and shouldn't expect anything less.
