^^^^^THIS^^^^^

Y'all blame me. I was at hobby lobby and the wife didn't want to go to the game

Not blaming you LOL. I should have went as well.

C'mon guys, we need all of our fans to be at the game. I am not going to belittle fans that dont go to the game (I know that life happens), but we ALL need to try to be there 7 times a year. If you are fan enough to be posting on this board and live in the Memphis area, it should require a significant event to keep you from going to the game. I love you all, but we shoulda had 50K+ there yesterday.
Go Tigers Go!

I'm so lost. Do men go shopping with their wives?

Real downers men are when it comes to power shopping.

In my forty years of marriage I found out the statement "have fun shopping" means "spend as much as you want I don't care!"

Navy made mistakes but so did we. Man I'm stoked how good this defensive depth will be the next few years. Injuries suck but might be a blessing. [/align]

It definitely seems to take the offense a while to get going in the first quarter.
I'm not even talking about the first quarter. I still don't get why Riley doesn't understand the intentional ground rule. He will never play on Sundays if he can't handle the pass rush. He seems to panic and is afraid of contact.

He does seem to panic and shies away from contact. I noticed Navy hit him after handoffs several times. I'm convinced that it was their game plan to hit him and try to rattle him, like UCF did. it worked somewhat, but he rallied and had a good game overall in spite of their game plan. I think he is getting tougher and that's a good thing for him and for us.

And they got away with a roughing the passer penalty because there was a pass interference as well. Roughing the passer should always be tacked on even if there is another penalty. They do want to protect the quarterback, right? They also hit him late on the safety call.

A lot is expected of a QB--to stand there calm and composed when huge overgrown linemen are coming at him with the intent to maul. The ref may or may not call that after the fact.

When the line collapses, a QB might be the only person looking out for his own head and random body parts.

It takes a lot to look for a safe place for the ball while resisting the natural human urges for self preservation. lol.

Remember the free kick after the safety? Their guy fair catches it at the 28 and they mark him down at the 30.

Seems like I recall Fry saying they did that on purpose, so they wouldn't have to measure for a first down.

Then it should have been the 25 since he ran after calling for fair catch. That way they could stay on long line marker and still penalize him.

They did that 4 plays later.

The announcers mentioned it was a penalty but it wasn't being called.
