RE: NU Hockey vs Sacred Heart
Saturday ended with a 7-0 win. Sacred Heart might be the worst team in college hockey, but 14-3 margin in two games is pretty good regardless. The top guys are scoring, and Solow as a freshman with 6 points is awesome! RIT will be a better test on the road next week but should be a win. Then home against a good Quinnipiac.

Scoring is going to come this season. Primeau with a shutout Saturday and I'm hoping he stands out to win the starting job. If that happens we could be really good this season. Sikura for Hobey, too soon I know but watch for it later in the season. He had a great summer in Blackhawks camp.

I'm really excited for this team this year. #14 in the polls as of today.

I thought hockey started near when basketball did.

It aligns more with the pros, always an early October start. Similar amount of games as basketball, just more rest time involved.

Primeau and the defense are the keys to what heights this team could reach.

If both work out the way we all think ... this could be a REALLY special season!

BTW .. here's Saturday's highlights
