I don't think he's going anywhere right now, and I don't count him out playing this year either. Battle isn't a hulk either and he's bound to get dinged up. Anything serious will result in either a return of McKee or burning the redshirt. I can't see them going to Rotger and I'm not even sure if he's healthy.

BTW, Russell Wilson is built like a tank and was when he was younger. He's probably about 5'9" without shoes. He has a canon arm that makes up for a lot of it.

Mitchell may not be 6' but he weighed in for camp at 192.
5'11 190lbs was Russell Wilson's measureables for his all-rookie year at NC state. Size won't be what holds back Shon from playing.

RE: Elon - Game 5
Then why is he listed at 180?

That roster was up when he enrolled in the summer. I don't think they updated it when camp started.

Armanti Edwards was 5'11, 170 when he shattered records at Appy State. He's only 180 in the pros.

No, it's because the players heights and weights on the roster are not accurate and are whatever the team or player wants to post. Just look at how they are almost all rounded to 5 pounds.

Now if Mitchell is really 192, I stand corrected. He doesn't look that big, but if we have someone on this board who was at the weigh in, I'm sure he's correct and not me. I stood right next to him and he didn't look that big.

So we just speculate then? I know the phenomena of over/under reporting measureables, but I don't believe it applies here. It is an absolute fact that Shon was 5'11 170lbs in April 2016 when he attended the Nike Opening. It's a combine type event where they take your measureables. It is out of the players hands. W&M lists him at 6'0 180lbs. Did he exaggerate an inch and 10lbs? Possible. But also very reasonable that a 17 year old kid can grow in a year and a half. I hadn't heard about 192lbs, but Tribe4SF is generally in the know, so I trust his word more than most. Either way, he didn't shrink and I'd bet that he hasn't lost weight since entering college.

agreed.

He can contribute the next 2 years and his 'compete' level is very high.
