Blue Hens All-Access (streaming option if you don't have CSN-MA+, CSN-P, SNY or COZI TV):
http://www.bluehens.com/liveEvents/liveE...m_id=29100
National Stats for both teams:
Passing Offense:
JMU - 28th, 261.3 ypg
UD - 86th, 174.7 ypg
Rushing Offense:
JMU - 5th, 298.8 ypg
UD - 36th, 186 ypg
Scoring Offense:
JMU - 6th, 47.3 ppg
UD - 85th, 21 ppg
Total Offense:
JMU - 5th, 560 ypg
UD - 64th, 360.7 ypg
Passing Defense:
JMU - 11th, 155 ypg
UD - 69th, 218.7 ypg
Rushing Defense:
UD - 5th, 62 ypg
JMU - 14th, 76.8 ypg
Scoring Defense:
JMU - 4th, 12 ppg
UD - 11th, 14.7 ppg
Total Defense:
JMU - 4th, 231.8 ypg
UD - 16th, 280.7 ypg
Average TO Margin:
UD - 5th, +1.67 TO
JMU - 35th, +0.5 TO
Strength of Schedule (comparing FCS teams only):
JMU - 44th
UD - 63rd
Key take away: Rushing is their strength, clearly. We should be selling out to stop their run and make them beat us with the pass, which is a glaring weakness for them and we have one of the best pass D in the nation.
Expect UD to take a similar defensive strategy, especially after they watch the maine tape. They'll sell out to stop the run, which they do well anyways. We have to jump on that sub-par pass D they have. This is a similar game to Maine in that we need Schor and our receivers to crack it open and force them to push their line backers back and open up our running game.
We're scoring more than double the points they are with a stronger SOS through four weeks. Their offense is mediocre at best and our defense should feast all day long.

RE: JMU @ Delaware Thread
UD's first three games:
Delaware State - One of the worst teams in FCS (118th) and they only managed to score 22 in that game for a 19 point win. They didn't find the end zone until 2:48 remaining in the 3rd.
#13 Virginia Tech - They were shut out 27-0. Not even a trash time score.
41-14 over a very bad Cornell team (massey ranks them 96th in FCS).
nothing about their schedule tells us much other than that their offense isn't impressing much.

Saw a question about health on another thread but think that goes here. Good news is that all known suspensions to date have now cleared out, right? Neither starting guard was in on the last drive. Butler was on crutches. Bolden didn't show any obvious problem. Of course Maginley's out now. Marshall seemed to limping slightly and wasn't in at the end. Hope he and Bolden were just out due to an abundance of caution.
Did notice that Fornadel went in for Butler at first, and then he was replaced by Bethea.

For any others with Comcast-Xfinity, the game is confirmed on The Comcast Network (at least for me...Channel 8 in Charlottesville area).

If John Miller is healthy then he, Eldridge, Hyman, and Alls should be able to make some plays in the passing game.

Madia should ask this week about injuries and whether they're out, questionable, or should play.
-Butler- If he isn't able to go at RG then I'd expect it will be Fornadel. One of 3 very impressive true freshmen so far.
-Miller: He was dressed but I think only played a little early. What was his injury?
And he should asked about Alls and Hereford. It's been 6 games. Will they be dressed? Will they play?
Maginley is only out for the 1st half (total BS).

Truly genius post from gohens.net and one of the UD fans...."The less points we allow - the greater the chance of a victory!"....

No and that was expected and Houston said as much prior to season.

RE: JMU @ Delaware Thread
I attended Delaware's game at Tech and came away impressed with the Fightin' Blue Hens. They were out-gaining VT early in the fourth quarter, and while they did indeed get shut out, they missed a chip-shot field goal and committed a red zone-turnover with the outcome still somewhat in doubt.
They're physical and their QB is tough.

Is that better than the old City Stadium piss wall at UR? Or how about the piss cliff at South Carolina?

Way better than the City Stadium piss wall. In my opinion, you have to go at the beginning of halftime to get the true awful experience of 20 dudes peeing on a wall together.
