I've heard a radio ad in DFW several times over the last couple of days for the upcoming game between SMU and Arkansas...State - Yes, they paused for almost a full second before saying "State"

They went on to call it the historic I-30 to I-40 to I-55 rivalry, and went on about how Arkansas...State almost beat Nebraska and that THIS IS A GOOD TEAM.

I've laughing every time I hear it, had to share with it y'all.

Gotta do everything they can to get the casual fan interested even if it's clever word play lol

That’s not how you get to Jonesboro from Dallas or vice versa.

I-30 and US 67 cover most of it and easier than I-30/40/55

If AState and USM play you could call it the US49 rivalry since US 49 runs past both stadiums but no one with sense would drive US 49 the entire way.

I used to work for them back in the day.

I watched some of that game. what hideous smu uniforms..pretty good game for a while. some letdowns by stAte cost them.
