You mean other schools actually pay attention to who they are scheduling for homecoming and don't schedule the defending conference/national champion?

That's funny. But, I hope it is a lot. Big crowds are great! And we will again have a very good defense. Hopefully an offense to match.

It's more a function of who do you have at home sometime in October, preferably the last few weeks.

This is correct. CAA sets the football schedule, and W&M Alumni Association (in consultation with rest of campus, including athletics) chooses the weekend. JMU was only home game in October this year so there wasn't any choice to make.

Coach Cignetti has performed a miracle. Even if Elon loses out it will be a great season compared to what was predicted. It's been fun to watch!
