Eller totally looks like prototypical Tribe forward. Like what I see.

Hard to know if Katona, who plays for MN’s Fury Zurn, is someone the Tribe is interested in or a coach was simply in attendance (against Baltimore’s BBC Team Elite). But one of the coaches is in Las Vegas.
Jonathan Holmes now following the 6’6” Katona out of Shakopee, MN.

RE: 2020 MBB Recruiting
I have full confidence in Tony and staff's recruiting and offer strategy.
It may be a departure in how early we extend offers, but can't help but think it would feel right to offer Burke Smith now, rather than later. Whether Burke develops into a NBA lottery pick or only a midmajor backup, he is a legacy. Extending that continued family connection is in line with the program integrity. Can't have loyalty unless it goes both ways. We have the extra slots for the class, and he should be here. Whether he blows up and chooses a top P5, or has limited development and only becomes a solid D1 practice player, an early offer is the right investment.
Would add that opening up the Richmond area pipeline by getting Burke and Robbie Beran could lay a very nice path for other future Central VA prospects. Beyond the current talent surge that Richmond has been seeing, they, also, had the top ranked 15U AAU team in the country this summer, so, there is a lot more to come. I imagine there is additional, underlying motive for Hofstra and CofC going after games against VCU in Richmond this season. We need to lock up local talent, who have the academics to go with it.

Totally agree. Loaded team is stacked too with 2021's but not sure of grades. They gotta nice big that goes to Steward School in Richmond, Efton Reid. I think that class is too early for a W and M. Smith kid is a safe bet. I think it's safe to say that if the parents are college athletes there's no way he won't continue to develop. Beran, maybe we will get lucky. He may be too enamored with the big names though.

Leyte a good pickup and, worth an offer if he's high academic . Smith, with two parents who were athletes and alums it's never out of the realm of possibility that the kid may just commit. Lol. Stranger things have happened.
