Update on Linear Television for James Madison Football
8/29/2017 4:45:00 PM
Harrisonburg, Va. – James Madison is currently working to finalize television contracts for multiple home football contests for the 2017 season. The department hopes to finalize those deals in the next few days in order to share comprehensive details with fans.
Multiple conference opponents have announced television packages. That includes Delaware, which has partnered with JMU on distribution of the Sept. 30 game in Newark to Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic (plus), Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia and SportsNet New York (SNY).
"We're excited for the season to begin and excited to deliver broadcast television opportunities to our fans," JMU Director of Athletics Jeff Bourne said. "We had hoped to announce our outlet partnerships today, but the breadth of partners involved has extended the time necessary to finalize a deal. I look forward to sharing the details in full in the coming days as we finalize contracts."
More details will be provided via JMUSports.com, JMUSports social media outlets and media distribution as soon as it's available. JMU's season opener on Sept. 2 at ECU can be viewed on ESPN3.
Season tickets, mini plans and single-game tickets are on sale now by visiting JMUTickets.com or by calling 540-568-3853. Student tickets are also available for the 2017 season.

RE: Update on Linear Television for James Madison Football
Convo currently going on in "Richmond partners with CSN for 4 home games on TV"
A separate thread is probably more appropriate than that one buttttt not sure we need three threads on the same topic
