There is not one single qualified person (who is dumb enough to serve) who can straddle the fence of liberal and conservative politics right now. All of the people who could possibly pull this off are way to smart to throw their hat in the ring. The Common Sense Party retired from politics a long long time ago - a few have tried, but the problem is there is no compromise. A democrat would never vote for a democrat with a few conservative views and vice-versa. People just cannot grasp that concept anymore.
