We are well aware we must win this one for more than just not losing to FCS. Make sure you let the other SB teams that have lost to FCS teams know they need to win. We aren't the only ones.

Looking at y'all App state and Arkansas State

Didn't we beat you guys right after taking that FCS loss?

We've gone 27-5 since that FCS loss, and I think Arkansas State has gone 8-1 since theirs. Maybe more teams should be doing them.

I think GS fans should hold off on bashing folks for losing to FCS until after we see if we can get past UNH this year. I am thinking we could easily lose that one.

Our fans love to fantasize about losing to FCS schools for some reason. I remember tons of chatter on our board about how we were going to lose to the Citadel two years ago because they were a decent FCS team and we didn't do well against WVU. Then we beat them 48-13. I guess it comes from some of our fans having more respect and nostalgia for the FCS than the teams that are still stuck there actually deserve.

Or maybe it's the bad taste from last season that actually started against the worst team in FCS- Sav St. We won big that night according to the score but it was obvious we had issues. That feeling never went away all season. Until we play a good game (win or lose), I'm not predicting a win against a decent FCS. If we had Sav St again, I'd predict a win.

If you think an FBS team that went (4-4) in the Sun Belt and beat Troy is definitely going to lose to some 2nd tier FCS team, then what the heck was even the point of moving out of the FCS if you think the Sun Belt is worse than the freaking CAA. Y'all say the same stuff every season we don't play Savannah State and we always end up just fine. I'm tired of hearing fans whine about last season. We have a talented team that's going to deliver this year, but all y'all ever want to talk about how we're never going to win another game ever. It's tiresome.

Good Luck Georgia State! Polish the new digs with a W! It's a tough opening weekend for the Belt we need every win we can get.

With the unknown progression of Harvey the weather forecast has been all over the place. On Sunday it was down to a 20% chance of rain, now up to 80%.

Poncho bigger the better. I have sat through cold rain games, with a solid poncho and a hat I was completley fine and dry.
