Bump - Tickets on sale tomorrow morning at 11am. Expect them to sell out in the first 5 to 10 minutes. Bison technique is to sit at the webpage and press F5 (reload) until it's open.

Any of you all receive the email they spoke of? Wasn't there supposed to be something with a promo code to allow us to buy tickets? I haven't received anything yet.

A few things to note with this:
1) it won't be delivered until sometime tomorrow morning.
2) several of us have had their emails landing in Gmail junk folders, marked like spam, so look out for that.
3) last year, there wasn't actually unique codes, just two code words used to sign in. They also may be filtering login by your signed up email address.

That's 1/8 of a 15k stadium that was YSU fans. Their fans not showing up in greater numbers wasn't due to a lack of available tickets.
1/8 of 15k is 1,875. I'll be generous and say they brought 2k fans.

No, YSU wouldn't sell out their 4K allotment. You can remove them from that list.
There were media reports of 4k seats being removed from 20.5k for the construction, 16.5k available for last year's NC game.
https://www.bigdsoccer.com/2015/9/21/936...duced-2016

There was also the communications manager for the Frisco Convention and Visitors Bureau saying 2+ weeks before the NC game "....capacity has changed over the past weeks due to construction, but on Jan. 7 Toyota Stadium should seat “about 18,000.”.."
http://www.vindy.com/news/2016/dec/21/ys...me/?mobile
What ever it was, capacity was higher than 15k.

I think YSU brought somewhere between 2-3k. The listed attendance for the game was 14,423. There a # of people on people on here who swear it was lowballed because not all tickets were being scanned, so it might have been a little higher, around 15k. I think it was something like this:
-1k-2k were locals/non affiliated/NDSU
-2k-3k were YSU,
-Which would leave 10k-12k being JMU (all the claims on here have ranged between that). Course all of that is guestimates- no way to be proven or disproven.

I think more YSU fans would have come if YSU hadn't screwed up so bad by only requesting 1k tickets. I'm sure there were some that didn't want to buy from NDSU fans off the secondary market. That and I don't think they expected to be there, or expected to win (their suspensions were worse & took a lot of wind out of their sails). If sometime in the future they had a 9-2 or 10-1 season and were a seed, had more excitement generated, they would have a chance on selling out their allotment. That's why I said maybe.

Bdk it was an estimate by looking at a photo. The world doesn't end because their estimate doesn't perfectly align with yours. Excuse me for remembering 15k instead of 16k.
I was so off the mark...

Any ways, my point stands. There was no shortage of available tickets on the secondary market for face value or less. They still didn't bring more than a few thousand.
What you saw was pretty much what they'd ever bring. The "well they could've potentially brought more fans" comment doesn't apply when it wasn't even sold out and at full capacity.

Also have it, looks like they went out at 6:00am.

If you signed up, and don't have the email, check your junk/spam folder.

Fine print "any person exceeding the published ticket limit may have some or all of their orders canceled." They look at name, telephone, email, credit card, and/or mailing address for indications of this. While I don't see it yet, last year the "published limit" was 8 seats. I will be buying 8.

does that mean that this presale is just for ADA or Hospitality tickets? and if you want regular no-frills tickets, the presale isn't really for you?

If NCAA is selling 'Midfield' and 'Sideline', where are the school's allocation? Endzone?

so. many. unanswered. questions.

if the only options are hospitality, I can't really do that. I obviously can't do ADA. and I have no idea what "sideline" means, specifically.

The first massively big link "Get Presale Tickets" is not for ADA or hospitality.
Confused how folks are confused on this :)

Also - Hi Bison Fans!
It's fun watching you watch us buy seats too :)

How many years removed from Frisco does NDSU have to be before your fans calm down? lol
