Daniel Adu is a February signee from Springfield via West Springfield HS. Also a track star in HS, Daniel caught a lot of passes a season ago at WSHS. Good luck to Daniel in his first year in purple and welcome to the JMU Family.

David Eldridge, the transfer from UVA, has already been featured in the countdown a couple of months ago back before we knew his jersey number assignment. He will be looked upon to be an immediate contributor this season and is a welcome addition to a WR corps that lost a good bit of talent from a season ago. He hails from Bealeton.
Good luck to David this first year in purple & gold. He is a Junior and has 2 seasons with the Dukes. Hopefully, he gets 2 national title rings before he's done.

These countdowns have led me to realize that we have a number of players on our roster with the same jersey number. In this case, even on the same side of the ball.

I always thought that you could have guys with the same number, but they would have to be on opposite sides of the ball. Adu might very well redshirt this season, though, so the argument is probably moot in this point.
