You'd think that now would be the time, when they are already accustomed to having it.

Most of these policies though are probably just in case they need to enforce them. Maybe it gives them a choice of reasons to charge/haul away trouble makers if need be.

Already confirmed with the university that the lots will be open all day.

These rules originated at NC State after someone got shot during tailgating. I believe CC was at state during that time. When he came to App he implemented Similar rules. Looks like he has copy and pasted them again in the ATL.
