The libturd talking point would be that, by removing the fine, you would be kicking 15 million people off of insurance.

Half the country would give up police protection too if they didn't have to pay the tax. And yet it is mandated on everyone...why?

Let's push a mandated 30% "unmotivated" tax on everyone who makes less than $40K per year. If you wont get off your ass and do better, we'll mandate it for you. Also, we will mandate weekly public lashings for those who do not work. Clearly, without it, some are not willing to work.

Let's tax someone who just lost their job and is now struggling financially if they don't cough up a mortgage payment for crappy insurance

Perhaps Ohio Poly should walk into a BLM group and ensure all members are paying their fair share for police protection. He should remind them its mandated.

And just to be difficult:

I live in an unincorporated area. I do not pay a tax for police protection as we have the sherrifs department and there funds come from the general property taxes fund, I believe

Before I got married I paid the fine, carried catastrophic insurance and saved myself between 3-4k a year.

Only downside was putting off minor surgeries to fix MCL tears. Spent a good deal of pain pills
