This is the only place I have ever been that you NEED to wear mosquito net hats to have a chance to enjoy yourself.

I've seen 4-5 over the past 15 years of hiking/backpacking and they take off quicker than you can. The only time I've worried about bears is hiking up in Alaska.

You can fight a black bear but a grizzly you're **** out of luck.

I've seen a few in different situations. Black bears aren't too scary. Give them space and they'll leave you alone.
