Serious question, I know they named an interim coach but with Freeze out, are App or Troy in danger of having their coach jump ship before the season starts if presented an offer?

It's about 3 years past that time.

It's Troy's turn. They need to feel pain and suffering. Perhaps a 35-0 loss in Jonesboro on December 3rd, followed by Brown bolting 2 days later. That would suffice for me.

There is a very good chance they'll be considered, but not "in danger" of being hired. They are great SBC coaches I'll admit.

I don't see Satterfield or Brown going to Ole Miss. I certainly don't see Ole Miss and Brown being a match for each other. Ole Miss is a fudge cluster right now.

In all seriousness I would expect Les Miles or Chip Kelly to get the nod.

After Nutt and Freeze it'll be awhile before Ole Miss considers anyone who so much as visited Arkansas.

I would bet OM goes assistant route next time.

I dont think either coach would leave before the end of the regular season. Neither are Bobby Petrinoish but the chances of each leaving just went up as there is already one job open.

IMHO, Ole Miss will go after a big name. They need a big splash to distract and not lose the fan base.

Les Miles

They will go after the usual suspects like Miles, Kelly and whatever nfl coach gets rumored. But they will end up with a coach from a mid P5 school.

I really don't feel like Les Miles or Kelly would want to return to a situation like that when they know they likely could get a decent job at a school not facing NCAA sanctions.
