Hilarious.

"Inclusion officer" is a part time, 35-40k/yr job at best, although it shouldn't even exist in the first place. 189k a yr. exceeds what astronauts, dentists, engineers, and some doctors even make. Ridiculous waste. Custodians at NIU contribute more to the school.

Is it really 189K a year? Please tell me you're kidding.

More layoffs will come, but their administration will remain intact I'm sure. ; /

Well, naturally they have to hire some people to figure out how to stay open with so few students.

Pritchard actually broke ranks with his Republican counterparts and voted to override Rauner's veto.

The whole thing stinks. Illinois was in a budget stalemate for 2 years and in the end they caved in to Madigan and raised taxes with no spending reform to go with it. We waited 2 years for this???

I'll gladly pay you Tuesday, for a hamburger today.

The new state budget included more spending and more taxes. The problem is that the deficit spending continues. they will continue to rob higher education of funding because they had to give the government sector unions raises and retro pay for electing these POSs.

Interesting article. You can look up and see how much teachers, superintendents, coaches, administrators earn if above 100k
