LOL--- let me know when big Monday in Ft. Worth is scheduled? I have a feeling the TCU athletic department will have few thousand t-shirts left over from this past season. Did you get one?

Back to the original topic-- If UT/A&M grads want this basketball game, go for it. I doubt the rest of us will watch. Nothing more than bragging rights for t-shirt fans who didn't attend those schools but claim their greatness.

What do Tech fans have to be jealous of exactly? They're the runners up in bball, made the CWS, and won a natty oj track....

Short of major changes, I don't think it's coming back as an annual football game (too little flexibility for Texas with 9 conference games), but like Penn State-Pitt has recently, I expect it to be played around 2-4 times a decade eventually.

That's basically my same view. It will become periodic rather than annual. Texas would have to end up as a SEC member for the rivalry to become annual/near annual again. And it could end up being played at a time other than Thanksgiving weekend.
