GSU and Armstrong State are consolidating under the GSU name. Athletics wise, GSU might play some games at the ASU campus in Savannah. ASU is a D2 non-football school, but has a D1 quality arena already. They will bus students to GSU home events too

This is good news. I visit savannah once a year and the locals were telling me that Armstrong waa closing. Glad they found a home with George southern which is a fine a academic institution. I know many faculty from GSU and present at their SoTL conference each year.
