Anyway, I never said anything about not trying to eliminate racism. What I suggested was that the stunt at St Olaf's, does nothing but pollute the environment that spawns racism. It delegitimizes any positive efforts being forwarded by the black community.

Absolutely! Any time you expose racist feelings that are underlying within a community, at the very least the exposure is a positive thing. Perhaps nothing concrete will come of it, this time, but history can't be redacted so easily these days. This happened, and it can't be taken back.
