Tuesday:
GSU @ Minnesota
ULM @ Ole Miss
UTA @ Texas
TXST @ UTSA
App State @ UNC Asheville

Wednesday:
Jacksonville State @ Troy
GSU @ Minnesota
ULM @ Ole Miss

Wait...Georgia State is playing a Midweek game @ MINNESOTA? Why on earth would anyone do that right in the middle of the most critical conference stretch of the season?

Probably cause they're playing us this weekend....

8-game losing streak we're on right now has to be the worst ever since I started following TXST baseball a dozen years ago.

6-4 UTSA in the top of the 4th right now, in danger of stretching it out to 9 straight.

I guess they can fly directly to Austin/San Antonio and bus to San Marcos, but still. Usually if a team is going to do the whole long Midweek trip thing, its because the midweek opponent is located nearby to the weekend opponent, so it allowed the team to get a couple games in nearby and get jetlag out of the way.

In this case, Georgia State is flying a thousand miles north, playing two games and then flying a thousand miles back south and playing 3 games. That's just weird...

Same boat here, we scheduled all of our midweek games really early this year, so we could have more rest before the critical May conference stretch.

Only midweek game we have left is our traditional home game with Ole Miss last week of the season. Full week off before hosting Arlington and bussing to Statesboro.
