Question about next year s baseball schedule
We (GS) missed Texas St this year. Will we miss them next year too and just flip flop the other 10 series or will we start over and redo whole conference schedule?

RE: Question about next year s baseball schedule
My guess, would be to flip flop divisional games, and to have a completely new schedule from teams in the other division

Question about next year s baseball schedule
I was told you will sit out a new opponent next year, and schools already know who that is

RE: Question about next year s baseball schedule
Thanks. I m assuming from opposite division. That probably means back to back home or road series vs at least 1 team

Schools know their schedules for the next 3-4 years at least

It is a team from the other division. It likely won't be possible to completely avoid playing a team on the road twice in a row out of division, but the conference will try.

RE: Question about next year s baseball schedule
The first four years of conference play have been scheduled. You'll miss a different team in the opposite division every year.

This year the Cajuns miss Georgia State. 2018 South Alabama, 2019 Troy, 2020 Georgia Southern

I've seen Louisiana's baseball schedules through 2019.

Cajuns have the OOC pre-conference schedule done as per asst. coach thru 2020 and have two of the four done for 2021.

OOC schedules I can see, but you guys have your conference slate finalized already.

We already know all our OOC opponents, it's just a matter of getting dates finalized for next year.

Knowing the opponents and knowing your schedule are two different things. If you don't have the dates then you don't have a schedule.

Knowing the opponents and knowing your schedule are two different things. If you don't have the dates then you don't have a schedule.

The Sun Belt releases the conference football schedule with dates in the spring after ESPN has informed the conference on what games they want on week night. The conference then makes each teams schedule around these week day games. Each team knows who they will play and home and on the road but just not the dates.

Conference dates are already known. It's non conference dates that have to be set.

Yes, you should also have dates for those games since the ole Windows 98 in the SBC offices spits all of that out at the same time.
