So tell me. Besides this search, how do you feel about Bass and the athletic department as a,whole. C'mon, you know so,much, surely you have an opinion...right?

Other than this search I am pleased with UNCW athletics, hiring Keatts was awesome and firing Buzz was a tremendous move. I don't have an bone to pick with anyone but after all the progress that we have made at this point right now I am very concerned about the coaching search and who we might hire. I hope that I am wrong and we find the perfect coach and we continue our success and if we do I will give Bass all the credit. I am not rooting for failure. I also don't wish to have a conversation with you about this. but I will post my opinions or info like everyone else.

It sounds like Dash is implying that Dooley, our likely leading candidate, is using us to get a raise as FGCU and we do not have a back up plan. Is that what you are hearing Dash?

If you're not Ms. Cottonball, my apologies. I like a good discussion but that one poster had an agenda and personal grudge with Bass and your immediate comparison to Mehrtens sent up red flags. Mehrtens was a complete disaster in every possible way, so any comparison of Bass to her is unwarranted.

That is very true. Bass has been nothing short of a phenomenal success with ALL sports here. He's running a high quality ship and I hope he sticks around.
