One Tribe. One Family.

You don't take an interview less than 24 hours after your team is eliminated from the tourney if you don't have 1 foot out the door already and a pretty good idea of the lucrative contract you are getting offered ... Keatts has done a great job in Seahawk land and it'll be be quite interesting to see what happens next.

RE: NCAA Round 1
NC State should be embarrassed at how lousy they've been for a while given their history. If Keatts ends up there he's going to get them back to where they once were. His style of play with players a step up from UNCW could be scary.

RE: NCAA Round 1
Keatts has a long ways to go before he can compete with K and Williams, who NC State and any coach is compared with in a vacuum. If K and Williams, both, step down in the near term, then the game changes. He has done very well with his short term at UNCW, but I would not assume that kind of success in the ACC, much less in the Triangle.

RE: NCAA Round 1
I wasn't insinuating he'd compete with K and Williams immediately. Just that he would improve NC State back to being competitive year in and year out. They were a powerhouse for decades and somewhat blah lately. Great history, great place to recruit, and best basketball conference in the NCAA.

Is that the same Goodman who reported Jack's departure?

Keatts' departure has set UNCC's incoming recruiting class on fire...several either decommitting or ready to; appears we are in on one of them who we chased last year.

Any rational explanation why UNCC would have their recruiting class on fire? Or did you mean UNCW? Plus, I haven't seen or heard anything on this line. What is your source for this?

Watch out for former Tribe and VCU assistant coach, Jamion Christian, in the UNCW new head coach search. He would fit their current style of play.

I'm kinda hoping they go to a different style of play :)

Oh, 82, I'm not sure you know what you are dealing with here.

Congrats on the tourney appearance. I had you going to the Sweet 16...so much for my bracket.

Me too....Homer to the end. I'd have had us there going through Villanova and Kansas in the first two rounds!
