In a new low for CAA officiating (or something), a last second shot was taken away so it's only 31-25 at the half. Apparently the shot was released before the clock on the scoreboard hit 0.0, but that was different from the actual game clock? I really don't know how that happens.

Great win. Tremba had a huge 4th and a good game to boot. Call me crazy but I think we have a shot at Elon. I also heard one of the announcers say that we may get a WNIT bid.

Tremba with 23 points, I think she was close to 50% from 3 too.

Also the ladies basketball program's 20th win! Believe that's only the second time ever.

This team has played as good as they have all season the past three games..they've got a shot at Elon.

Wow! Elon is good. They are not missing.

Tribe ladies down by 10 at half after being down by 16. What I saw they do not look outclassed by Elon.
Maybe the Lady Tribe will be able to accomplish what the Men have not been able to.

rough end (Elon is good!), but huge congrats to the ladies on an awesome season!!

So, do we start up the same conversation now about the ladies? That is, if they are not invited to the WNIT (probably a longshot) then do they accept a slot in the alternate tournaments? I definitely remember the Tribe women playing Xavier a few years ago (played them very well, in fact; I thought the refs stole the game). I think it was one of those "C" tournaments but I wouldn't swear it was not the WNIT. If it was a "C" tournament then somebody in the administration okayed the expenditures.
