At least it's a short ride home
Boeheim makes a comment to the effect of "there's no reason to hold the ACCT in Gboro. None"

To which the City of Greensboro replies: "We kindly disagree. But I guess you can lose in the first round anywhere. At least it's a short ride home."

Sorry, Hoops. Truly nothing personal, but why does Boeheim think he's in a position to tell the ACC what is best after four years in the league?

He's just a tired grumpy old man. He didn't want to make the move to begin with for travel. His pressers used to be funny but now it's just "kids get off my lawn"

For the record I'm kinda glad Miami won, they match up much better this year than Cuse does with Unc

I'd be interested to see Larranaga's record against Carolina. I think Carolina wins today, but Larranaga has had their number. For the record, I have Louisville winning the ACCT.

ACC tournament is a complete crap shoot. Too many good teams you can make cases for. I wouldn't be shocked if a Duke or Notre Dame won as the other top teams bow out to prepare for the NCAA without getting beat up in a meaningless conference tournament.

The bottom half of the ACC bracket could be represented by Notre Dame, UVA or FSU. I don't think any of them have a distinct advantage. Personally, I have FSU coming out of that side, with Louisville as their opponent.

Duke plays 7 guys. I just don't see them winning 4 games in 4 days. Clemson didn't make it easy on them, even if the contest was never really in doubt.

Meaningless conference tournament = AGREE

Haha. I thought about your statement over the weekend, Dan. Well done.

To get things back on track in this thread...

The NIT is sending UNCG up to Syracuse for the NIT 1st round matchup.

LMAO

I saw that and I think it is awesome. It only would've been better if UNCG was the higher seed.

It is pretty freaking funny, and intentional for sure. Jimmy was on Mike n Mike this morning, and was much more calm and reasonable. Must have taken his meds today
